I’m going to post a video (soon) where I explain how to remove a tattoo. I’ve done it several times to hundreds of people. And I’m going to show you how to do it in a way that doesn’t hurt. I promise.
I’m going to put this tutorial up quickly because I don’t want my videos to be boring. I want to be able to answer questions and make people’s lives better. If you’re concerned, please stop reading. Let me help you.
Why would I remove a tattoo?
There are a couple of reasons. Firstly, because it’s a beautiful piece of art (but even more beautiful if you like it). And secondly, because if you take it off, you’re not only doing yourself a favor but are helping people. I think it’s good to be able to help people without being ashamed of it. A tattoo has been a part of me since I was a little kid, and I feel like I’ve got to let people know exactly what it means. Some people are terrified of the process, and others can’t comprehend how anyone can remove a tattoo that they put on themselves! That’s cool though, because if you take it out they’re very grateful, and if they aren’t you haven’t tried hard enough.
How can I do this?
In most cases, the best way would be to ask for a picture of it. In those cases, if you don’t have a picture in front of you you could ask someone (preferably close to the tattoo location). Even if it isn’t the best tattoo that you’ve ever seen, there is no need to change the tattoo and start over. It will always be there, and will never go away.
Some people recommend removing the tattoo right after it’s put on, even if there doesn’t appear to be much of a connection. That’s not always possible unless you have no other options but to remove it all together right away. If that seems dangerous for you and you know what you’re doing, you are probably better off asking someone else to do it than being embarrassed and leaving the tattoo behind.
It’s better to go the surgery route if you don’t already have them on your body. You can find out which ones I’ve done here:
