Tattoos are removable with wax, and usually only need a thin coat of wax or nail polish remover to remove all of the ink. The only time you will need to do this is if you want to cover up your tattoo in one way.
If your tattoo is too deep, and you get all of the ink underneath the skin, you can get a waxed tattoo removal gel that will get rid of most of the ink. This is usually pretty costly.
Once you get to the point where you are not seeing any more ink, you can take your waxed tattoo and put on a polish or nail polish remover to remove all of the ink (there are really a lot of choices here).
The good news is most kids will stop taking their tattoos home. In most cases, only a small number of kids continue to take their tattoos home at all.
If you find the option to use wax, you will need a little bit of an advance notice so that you don’t overdo the wax. In most cases, you can get a good wax, but I always recommend starting at a low amount, and gradually increasing your dosage. After all, I don’t want a kid to take a permanent tattoo to school because he wasn’t aware that his parents gave it to him!
I know that is a lot of information, but I hope you get the idea.
If you feel like you want to get some advice, I would encourage you to call a local tattoo artist who specializes in getting kids and teens their tattoos. They can explain what will work for teens, and how to get the most out of your next tattoo treatment.
By now, you’ve probably seen the picture of a little girl wearing a purple and black hoodie emblazoned with the words “Hate” and “Trump.”
It turns out the kid (named “Devin” in our pictures) was at her school wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap.
