Yes, in general.
Day trading involves trading stocks in an open market with the intent to win money. The risk of losing money is present in a day trade. So a day trader is more likely to lose money today than in the past.
Swift Swings are more risky than open markets. The risk of losing money is not as great, but the payoff comes less frequently. The risk of loss is higher and the reward less frequent.
To help increase the returns, I make stock picks with a high probability of success and a low probability of disappointment (see my book on the topic, Investing the Next Millionaires).
Do Swings matter when trading stocks in open markets?
No, they do not.
You can trade on a wide variety of different stock markets like the American and Swedish stock markets. The risk in these markets is similar.
If you want to make money, you want to trade stocks of more than 7,000 companies. This is what I do. I use the US and Swedish stock markets.
Why do I invest in high-quality stocks?
Because I believe in them. It is just the same reason you buy cars, jewelry and anything that comes with investment.
If you want to be happy, invest in the stock market because you believe in it. If you want to lose money, it is because of what you have bought.
For those who want to win, they want to invest heavily in stocks.
Does a higher return come in the short-term?
Yes, when you trade stocks regularly, they earn more money.
But the most you can gain at any given time, is about one-two percent a year. In the long-term, you can gain double-digit returns, over time.
Do high-quality stocks make good investments?
Yes, and not one of them is a bad investment.
