Is her name Alice?
Well, yes, Alice is very much the daughter of Matrix Revolutions’ Director and producer, Mr. Henson, who has been the main director for the trilogy since he became a partner in 1992 (the first film of the series was made in 1982). She is currently 19 years old, but can only be described as a young girl who does what she wants: her personal freedom. She is described by her creator, a guy by the name of John V. Gordon, as the child who gets to “experiment” and she is just as comfortable taking the controls as her siblings.
So the question is: will she become the next “Matrix Hero”? I don’t think so. I think Matrix Revolutions’ Director, a guy by the name of J. Michael Straczynski, is quite realistic about it, and he explained why:
Alice is my favorite child in any movie ever made (I’m an old fan as well). The story, with all the emotions and joy that it holds, is something I can’t get enough of. Of course these are my favorite movies, but there are many others as well. That’s part of the charm of this wonderful series, which I was lucky enough to discover while researching this blog.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you’d like a little more info and insight on what makes her tick, I’d definitely recommend that you check out this great blog titled Matrix Girl. Click that link to read the whole thing.
