The Actor/Carpenter/Carpenter’s Friend:
Cincinnati Bengals running back Jeremy Hill is expected to play against the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday.
Hill missed the Bengals game last week as he sat with what was ultimately characterized as a shoulder injury. Hill is expected to be in action in this weekend’s game. It’s not known if Hill was diagnosed with a shoulder injury, whether it was a concussion or whether it really is a shoulder.
Hill will be joined by Giovani Bernard and Isaiah Crowell on Sunday.
Both backs are ahead of schedule in their recovery from injuries that both took against the Jets. Hill spent a second week in a row on the Commissioner’s Exempt List this year. He’ll join the team as they make their way to Indianapolis, and it seems as though those two injuries are going to push him back again.
There’s no denying the impact Hill has on the offense. The Bengals have scored 28 yards more per game on the ground than anyone else. Hill was a big reason for that performance on last Sunday.
The New York Giants announced their 2015 roster today via a press release. They have a mix of experienced veterans and young players in a tight end group that doesn’t boast a lot of depth, as both Greg Olsen and David Njoku had missed games and Jerrel Jernigan and Evan Engram missed time this year.
The Giants have a lot of young players who should contribute. Rueben Randle will be one of the highest paid receivers of his age group in 2015. He will be a restricted free agent after signing a contract extension. Victor Cruz had one of the best season’s of his career last season. He caught 60 passes for 707 yards.
On the tight end side of the roster, it appears that the Giants will be adding at least one other young tight end. The team will likely keep two tight ends,
