There seems to be no comparison. After all, Photoshop will always be better if a photographer wants to do what he/she wants. What do you think is the best Photoshop for creative people?
I like both Photoshop versions as I like both the product and the developer. When I’m on my laptop in the evening I like both tools. Photoshop is better for creating things I want to share with others but Lightroom really helps when I just want to check my work on my laptop. For me, it depends on how quickly I upload my work and how much I need to remember. I think of using Lightroom mainly as a way to store a couple of my work but not what I’ll use to edit them but when my mind has more time to work I’ll put the Lightroom on. But I have my own way of working which involves a lot of work editing stuff I uploaded on my camera phone.
For us, the choice in the future is not really about the two software and more about the need for each software.
What would you like to see happen to Adobe’s Creative Cloud offering?
I think I’ll make Adobe Creative Suite more like CC’s Creative Cloud with more tools. I would like Adobe to support both Lightroom and Photoshop on a single mobile device. That way not only do I have the best camera phone, but I also can edit my stuff on my laptop.
I think I like it when people are free to use the tools they need on their computer and use the things they don’t use, but if there’s a big difference between two tool, I don’t think you need two separate tools. If you can use both together like Photoshop and Lightroom, it would be nice. Maybe the whole software should be one and the same.
What are your thoughts on the latest version of Windows 10 (which isn’t compatible with the newest version of Photoshop)? Is there a need in the future for more than one version of Photoshop?
I like the new version of Windows 10 very much; it’s a very nice experience to be able to use the Windows version, but it’s not a big point in my mind. We can have one version of Photoshop for all of our laptops but not all users can have the same version of each software.
In your opinion, Photoshop 10 should have been renamed to Photoshop.
I think that’s about it for future changes. But I’ll keep my fingers crossed that the next version of Photoshop gets
