Do you think you’re an independent woman?

I do feel like I’m an active independent woman, but I also acknowledge that I’m an independent woman at work, and I’m an independent woman at home, and I’m an independent woman at school.

I guess that’s important that the things that I do are independent, and I can’t help but think about that as I look at my career. I never want to let down my team or let down my parents or let down my friends.

For my parents’ sake, I don’t want them to feel like they have to depend on me. I don’t want them to worry about me.

Do you think you’d ever marry someone who didn’t have a great career?

I know for myself what I want in a partner, and what I don’t. And that’s a combination.

Sometimes my partner will ask about my life and say, ‘Wow. You’re a great entrepreneur, you should hire me.’ I know what to tell them: You’re great as a business owner, but you’re not as great as a wife, and you’re not as great as as a mother, and you’re not as great as an artist, and you’re not as great as the woman who gets up at 7 in the morning to be a nurse.
